Jeff McKissack of Defense By Design is coming back with Round 2 of training on July 14th at Outback Steakhouse.  This time it's personal. 

Last month Jeff addressed what to do to spot trouble before trouble spots you, but this month we didn't see it coming and now we're forced to do something - and it had better be QUICK!  Also being taken into account is what if there is more than "one" attacker to handle. 

How do we move, how do we protect our heads, etc?  These are some of the same defense strategies employed in such films as the new Batman movies, Taken, the new James Bond films and Mission Impossible. 

These are quick and ballistic movements geared towards "getting out of there" if attacked versus "submitting" someone as in a fight.  

Event is $20.  Batteries, sound effects and capes not included :-)

Jeff McKissack is a noted authority in the field of crime prevention.  For years he served as the national representative for the critically-acclaimed CHILD LURES Crime Prevention Program during which time he personally addressed over 250,000 children and teens as well as over 40,000 adult professionals in the educational, medical, legal, ministerial and law-enforcement communities.

Jeff has also appeared on numerous radio and television talk shows and newscasts around the country.  While living in Oklahoma years ago, Jeff worked with members of the Tulsa Police Department, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and the Oklahoma Department of Education.  He also served for six years as the self-defense instructor for Oral Roberts University at the Kenneth H. Cooper Aerobics Center on campus.

Jeff is an experienced and certified personal defense instructor as well with over 20 years of teaching experience.  He is a contributing writer for Black Belt Magazine, Martial Arts Success Magazine and Predators.tv, an online resource for the prevention of violent crimes against women and teens.  Locally, Jeff is a member of the North Texas Crime Commission and consultant to several local professional agencies.
