Mayor's Day of Concern for the Hungry
You're invited to the Mayors' Day of Concern for the Hungry. April 21 @ 2:30p | Christian Community Action | 200 S. Mill Street, Lewisville Please join the Mayors of Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village as they declare April 21, 2015, the 'Day of Concern for the Hungry' and celebrate their cities efforts to fight hunger! More than 104,000 Denton County residents do not know where their next meal will come from, including more than 10,000 seniors and 18,000 children. During April 14-20, citizens of Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village have come together for a food drive. The food is being collected at local businesses and churches and will be distributed between the CCA Food Pantry, Metrocrest Services Food Pantry, Lake Cities Community Food Pantry, and other food banks in Denton County.
