Luncheon & Briefing with the Denton County Legislative Delegation
Update on the 83rd Session of the Texas Legislature
The entire six-person state legislative delegation from Denton County has been invited to give presentations on the results of the 83rd Session of the Texas Legislature.
Coordinated as a joint project of the Denton, Flower Mound, Frisco, Northwest Metroport and Lewisville Chambers of Commerce, the event is a follow up to the 2013 Denton County Days in Austin.
Denton is covered by both State Senators Jane Nelson and Craig Estes, as well as State Representative Myra Crownover. In addition to Representative Crownover, the county has three other state representatives, Tan Parker, Pat Fallon and Ron Simmons.
Topics will include transportation funding and a state-wide water plan, as well as the outcome of the special sessions which addressed redistricting and abortion rights. Time permitting, questions may be considered from the audience.
Please make reservations on the Denton Chamber web site, www.denton-chamber-org., or by calling 940/382-9693.
