Grand Opening - FM 2499 Section 4

COMMISSIONER BOBBIE MITCHELL ANNOUNCES OPENING DATE OF FM 2499 SECTION 4
 
Denton County Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell announced this week that Section 4 of FM 2499 in Highland Village is nearing completion and will open to the public on Saturday, October 30,2010. Section 4 includes the much-anticipated bridge that will connect FM 2499 in the City of Highland Village with FM 2181 in the City of Corinth, traversing a portion of Lake Lewisville.
 
Commissioner Mitchell announced that a ribbon-cutting ceremony is being planned in conjunction with the City of Highland Village and County
Commissioner Hugh Coleman to be held the morning of October 30^th at 10:00 a.m. prior to the official opening of the road.
 
She said many area businesses are participating in the event and she encouraged all area residents to plan to join the ceremony before driving across the new bridge.
