Creekside Elementary World Fest

Our Creekside PTA believes education must go beyond the walls of the classroom. Watching a play performed live is quite a different experience than reading a play from a book. We are hopeful that through attendance at our Creekside Elementary Cultural Events, our Cubs and Families can broaden their horizons and gain unique insights into their own communities as well as a broader global perspective of our world?s diverse cultures. By understanding the culture of a nation, people, or group?the arts, beliefs, customs, practices, values, and social behaviors Creekside Elementary School Cub students and their families can experience firsthand the diverse offerings of culture and artistic expression found in our community and allow for us to travel to faraway locations without having to leave our town. Our goal is to provide our Creekside Community with a sampler of cultural traditions, beliefs, demographic information, music, art, food, games and entertainment.
