Run the Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge
As construction on the new bridge over Lewisville Lake began to take shape, community leaders joined together in cooperation with the North Texas Tollway Authority to create an event that would celebrate the opening of the bridge andallow the community to participate in the momentous occasion. The result of their hard work was the creation of the Run the Lewisville Lake Bridge 5K Race and Family Fun Walk. This event is a one time only chance for the public to walk or run on this new North Texas landmark.
Registration:
Participation in the 5K race is limited to the first 2500 registrants. There will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION and NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP.
Mail-In: Entries must be postmarked by July 13, 2009.

Race Day Schedule
8 a.m. 5K Race Begins
Location
FROM DALLAS: Take I-35E north to the Swisher Road exit (#458). Turn right onto Swisher Road and continue to the event entrance. FROM LITTLE ELM: Take Hwy 380 wet to IH 35E in Denton. Take IH 35E south to the Swisher Road exit (#458). Turn left under IH 35E at Swisher Road. Continue on Swisher Road to teh event entrance. FROM FORT WORTH: Take SH 121 north to IH 35E in Lewisville. Take IH 35E north to the Swisher Road exit (#458). Turn right onto Swisher Road and continue to the event entrance.
Fees/Admission
5K: $30 per entry Family Fun Walk: Donation of a non-perishable food item (encouraged)
