Monthly partnership luncheons are a great way to mingle with area businessmen and women. The event, which typically takes place on the fourth Tuesday, features a luncheon speaker and the presentations of Ambassador, Business, and School of the Month. New Major Investors are also presented with their certificates.
Our partnership luncheons would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. Special thanks to DATCU Credit Union for sponsoring our June 2016 luncheon.
Luncheon attendees will have the opportunity to win this prize package, including a YETI Tundra cooler, courtesy of DATCU Credit Union. **Must be Present to Win**
This month we are pleased to announce Dr. Kevin Rogers, Superintendent of Lewisville ISD, and Michael Ball, Assistant Superintendent of Finance with Lewisville ISD, as our speakers. They will give an update on what is going on within the district.
About Dr. Rogers
The Lewisville ISD (LISD) Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Kevin Rogers as Superintendent of Schools on May 18, 2015. With 31 years of experience in education, Rogers has a proven track record of introducing new opportunities for all students and teachers, as well as leveraging them to close the achievement gap.

He then served the district in Central Office positions, where he was the district’s Chief Operations Officer before being named LISD’s Interim Superintendent.
With a passion for serving children and young adults, Rogers has invested countless hours in shaping the future of others, through his role as a mentor to three LISD students. In addition, Rogers has served as an adjunct professor for UNT for the past four years. Currently, he serves as Board Chair for PediPlace, a non-profit healthcare facility for children.
In 2010, University of North Texas (UNT) named Rogers the UNT Outstanding Ed.D. Doctoral Student in Educational Administration. Additional awards include being named the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA)’s State Administrator of the Year in 2007, as well as being named a Texas PTA Lifetime Member in 1998. Rogers also had the opportunity to present his dissertation to the Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, Rogers was raised in Andrews, Texas and graduated from Fort Stockton High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the UNT, master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University and doctorate degree from UNT.
