LISD Job Olympics
Job Olympics is a competition developed to promote employablility skills for high school students with intellectual disabilities. The event provides an opportunitiy to introduce vocational-related topics into the classroom setting, through simulated work experiences. Students' preparation for the Job Olympics showcases their aptitude, knowledge, interest, and skills in key vocational areas necessary for employment.
Volunteers are needed to help judge the Job Olympics. The time commitment is 9:30a to noon on May 15. To volunteer as a judge, please contact Nicole Park at 469-948-8604 or Kristin Strange at 469-948-8605.
