DESCRIPTION:Monthly partnership luncheons are a great way to mingle with area businessmen and women. The event\, which typically takes place on the fourth Tuesday\, features a luncheon speaker and the presentations of Ambassador\, Business\, and School of the Month. New Major Investors are also presented with their certificates.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce Dr. G. Brent Wallace\, president of North Central Texas College District\, will be our speaker at the March monthly luncheon. Register now and take advantage of early bird pricing.\n\n\n\nAbout Dr. Wallace\n\nDr. G. Brent Wallace assumed the duties as the 11th President of the North Central Texas College District in August 2014 after serving as the Vice President of Instruction and Chief Academic Officer for the North Central Texas Community College District . As the Vice President of Instruction\, Wallace was responsible for managing all instructional units including academic transfer\, career and technical education\, continuing education\, adult education\, adult basic education\, libraries\, and recently the addition of tutoring\, Office of Students with Disabilities\, and TRIO.\n\nDr. Wallace is a native of West Texas where he attended high school and college. Wallace attended Hardin Simmons University\, receiving a Bachelor in Business Administration Degree in Marketing. Dr. Wallace also holds a Master of Arts in Human Communication and graduate certifications in conflict resolution and family dispute mediation from Abilene Christian University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Educational Administration from Texas Tech University.\n\nDr. Wallace has served in many higher education roles including: Director of Student Services\, Professor of Management and Administration\, Chair of Business Management and Administration\, Dean of Instruction\, and Vice President of Instruction.\n\nDr. Wallace has research background in conflict and strategic planning in higher education. He has been a presenter at state and national higher education conferences and is a member of multiple state higher education groups including being the Texas Community College Instructional Administrators\, a member of the Board of Directors Texas Association of Career and Technical Educators\, a member of the Texas Community College Teachers Association\, a member of the Texas Association and Community Colleges\, and a member of the Texas Association of Community Colleges eLearning Committee. Dr. Wallace is also a member of the Gainesville Texas Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is widely involved in civic activities.
