DESCRIPTION:Greater Lewisville Community Theatre proudly presents the colorful\, engaging\, and perfect holiday family musical\, Meet Me in St Louis\, December 1-17. Directed by Dena Dunn\, and featuring a talented cast from across the Metroplex\, performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 3 pm. It is the summer of 1903\, and the Smith family eagerly anticipates the opening of the 1904 World's Fair. Over the course of a year\, the family's mutual respect\, tempered with good-natured humor\, helps them through romance\, opportunity and heartbreaks. Based on the heartwarming 1944 MGM film\, memorable musical numbers include "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas\," "The Boy Next Door\," and "The Trolley Song." GLCT is located at 160 W. Main St. in Old Town Lewisville. The entrance and parking are in the rear off of Elm Street. Tickets are $30 for Adults and $25 for 65 and over and 18 and under.
