DESCRIPTION:Denton County Day is designed to acquaint the state's top elected decision makers and key agency officials with the many assets of the county\, and heighten the overall image and visibility of the North Texas area.\n\n\n\nA joint project of the chambers of commerce of Denton County\, the ultimate intent is to provide more exposure for area legislators\, thus helping them to better represent the needs of their particular constituents. \n\n\n\nDenton County Day has been held in conjunction with every Regular Session of the Texas Legislature since 1987.\n\n\n\nThe headquarters site for Denton County Day will be the Sheraton at the Capitol\, located at 701 E. 11th St. in Austin.\n\n\n\nPlease note\, the City of Austin prohibits the use of all electronic hand-held devices while operating a vehicle or bicycle.\n\n\n\nFor more information\, please contact us at 972-436-9571 or email at info@lewisvillechamber.org
